The Birmingham Chamber Music Society has brought memorable music to town since 1937 under the guiding belief that no degree of sophistication in a recording studio can replace the enchantment of live performance.

In recent years we have hosted internationally acclaimed ensembles such as the Leipzig String Quartet, Beaux Arts Trio, Takács String Quartet, and the Talich String Quartet with Yakov Kasman.

Investing in concert tickets is investing in yourself

Your small investment in a season or concert ticket will repay you with hours of music that will never be heard again in exactly the same way as you heard it performed. You will take away memories of hearing music that has lasted or--in the case of Twentieth and Twenty-first Century and new music--will last as long as the planet. You will contribute to your own health, mind and body. You will find a community of kindred spirits who are a serious but not at all a stuffy group, people who want to share their passion for great music..

Join a passionate community of music lovers

Ticket sales cover only twenty percent of the expense of bringing outstanding chamber music ensembles to the area, so we depend on your contributions.
Please consider making a gift of music to our city. We will gladly accept a tax-deductible donation of any amount, and you may donate directly to the Birmingham Chamber Music Society or indirectly to us through the Community Foundation. You are welcome to make your gift in tribute to a friend or relative. We like to list the names of our supporters in our printed programs but will honor the wishes of any donor requesting anonymity.
